Where it came from

PrismLink began as a working integration for a single radiology department, built around that department's exams, scanners and report templates. It did what it was asked to do, and in doing so made the general problem obvious — every site has the same gap, and every site's version of it is different. The equipment differs, the exam names differ, the report fields differ, and none of it is standard enough to hard-code.

The current product is the generalisation of that work: the same delivery guarantees, but configured per site through a browser rather than written per site in code.

What it is built on

The report field is the destination, not the document

Values are delivered as discrete, addressable report data. That means they can be validated, trended, exported and audited — not just read once in a paragraph of prose.

Determinism where it counts

Deciding where a measurement belongs is a hard problem, and PrismLink uses AI to help solve it during configuration. Executing that decision on a live patient study is not a hard problem, and it is done by audited code that produces the same answer every time. The two are kept strictly apart: no model participates in processing a live study.

Silence over confidence

An empty report field is a visible, correctable absence. A confidently wrong value is neither. Where the evidence does not clearly support filling a field, PrismLink leaves it empty and records why.

Nothing is discarded quietly

Received studies are retained exactly as sent. Configuration decisions are recorded as an append-only history with the person who made them. When automated review removes a proposed mapping, it records what was removed and on what evidence. The intent throughout is that any delivered value can be traced back to the byte it came from.

The company

PrismLink is developed and maintained by Circanever Technologies LLC. Circanever Technologies is the corporate entity behind the product: it holds the software, the update signing keys and the agreements a healthcare organization enters into. PrismLink is the product those agreements are about.

Status

PrismLink is in alpha and deployed for evaluation. It is developed and maintained by a small team, and site onboarding is currently hands-on by design — the configuration decisions made during setup determine what the system delivers for years afterwards, and they are worth getting right in person.
